Due to safety work on the slow traffic route along the Axenstrasse, the Gruonbach-Tellsplatte (Sisikon) section will be closed to slow traffic from 24 September until probably 31 December 2024.

This affects the following SwitzerlandMobility routes:
- Hiking route no. 99, Swiss Path, Gruonbach-Tellsplatte section
- Cycling route no. 3 North-South route, no. 4 Alpine panorama route, Gruonbach-Sisikon section
- Mountain bike route no. 417, Chinzig Bike, Gruonbach-Sisikon section

To mark the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation in 1991, the cantons gifted the Swiss Path to the Swiss people. It is a 35-kilometre panoramic trail around the southernmost arm of Lake Lucerne, Lake Uri. It invites you to hike through history, reveals unspoilt nature and encourages introspection.
